A very human uncertainty
Sometimes attention arrives when we would rather be left alone. At other times, we might welcome a conversation, a smile or a simple hello — but nothing happens. Both people are unsure whether the other is open to interaction.
It can be hard to know when to approach, and equally hard to communicate that we would prefer our own space.
Why SYVEO began
SYVEO was created around this uncertainty: a small physical pin with a simple visual language, chosen by the person wearing it.
The idea is to reduce some of the guessing, help reduce unwanted approaches and make welcome conversations easier to start — without forcing anyone to explain themselves or encouraging assumptions about who they are.
Three colours. A personal choice.
Feel free to say hello.
A respectful first approach from someone new is welcome. A conversation may lead to friendship, dating or simply a pleasant interaction. Green never implies romantic or sexual interest, consent, availability or any obligation.
Happy to connect.
Friendly conversation and meeting people are welcome, with no expectations attached. Yellow carries no implied romantic expectation.
Enjoying my own space.
The wearer prefers not to meet someone new right now. It does not mean they are necessarily in a relationship — it reflects how they feel in this moment.

SYVEO is not about judging people, putting labels on them or creating romantic pressure. Wearing a colour never constitutes consent. Your boundaries remain yours, and you can choose a different colour whenever you feel differently.
